About This Project

This is a software for the management of a datalogger designed specifically for monitoring broadcasting in radio and television antennas with the aim of controlling and optimizing the maintenance of transmission systems. Following the analysis of the required requirements, the configuration and operating functions are to be:

Data logger configuration with IP parameters for reaching the device via web

Manual station configuration:

enter station name

entering number and name of couplers

insertion of the frequencies on which to carry out the power measurements

when the input data is saved, a command from the data logger to the couplers checks the status of the couplers if they can be reached and if the frequencies have been correctly set.

Auto configuration of the station (autoscan):

a command queries the couplers, receiving the system name of the coupler and compiles the table relating to the number and name of the couplers, with the possibility of changing the name

Input of station operating frequencies

Configuration of the alarm thresholds essential to detect the correct functioning of the panels, thus inserting the alarm threshold for the return loss (5➗25dB) unique for the whole station and the alarm thresholds for the single couplers (20➗99dBm) in function of the operating frequencies

Once all the necessary configurations have been carried out, the program, through the appropriate control functions, is able to monitor the operation of the station and of each single coupler implemented in it, providing visual alarms on the appropriate control panels and sending emails to the designated operators.
